This course is the essential transition between no-decompression CCR diving and the full technical CCR pathway. It enables divers to safely conduct:
Decompression CCR dives to 40m using Air or Nitrox, and
Limited Trimix CCR dives to 45m,
With a maximum of 10 minutes mandatory decompression.
IIt is also the only CCR course that introduces staged decompression while maintaining a streamlined, low-complexity profile.
Key Benefits
Extend your diving range from 40m → 45m
Learn planned CCR decompression with controlled procedures
Get early exposure to trimix without the complexity of normoxic or hypoxic levels
Build confidence with bailout strategies
Strengthen buoyancy, trim, and loop control under realistic decompression conditions
A perfect stepping stone into CCR Normoxic Trimix (60M)
You will develop the skills and discipline needed to execute short, controlled decompression dives on your CCR, using both Air/Nitrox and Limited Trimix as breathing gases.
Planning and executing mandatory decompression dives
PO₂ management at depth (setpoint ≤1.3 bar)
Diluent selection for both Air/Nitrox and Limited Trimix
Executing decompression schedules safely and efficiently
Handling bailout emergencies with staged decompression
Managing max 10-minute decompression obligations
Unit-specific configuration and skill mastery
Gas analysis and depth planning (EAD/END limits)
Max Depth (Air/Nitrox): 40 metres (130 feet)
Max Depth (Limited Trimix): 45 metres (145 feet)
Maximum Mandatory Decompression: 10 minutes
Bailout PO₂ Limit: ≤ 1.6 bar
Max Decompression Obligation: 10 minutes
Unit-Specific: Training completed on your exact CCR model

Conduct CCR decompression dives to:
40m using Air/Nitrox, and
45m using Limited Trimix
Operate within these safety limits:
Max loop PO₂: 1.3 bar planned
Absolute loop PO₂: ≤1.3 bar (≤6m for ≤2 min)
Bailout PO₂: ≤1.6 bar
Diluent O₂ content: ≥21% for Air/Nitrox 40m
Diluent O₂ content: ≥20% for Limited Trimix 45m
Maximum decompression: 10 minutes
Maximum END/EAD: 30m / 100ft
This course leads directly into:
